Nine Faith Formation Leaders Achieve Certification

The Southern New England Conference has the only entry-level equipping program specifically for faith formation and youth ministry leaders in the United Church of Christ. After spending two or more years taking classes in the program, one is eligible to receive its certificate. On October 29th, nine faith formation and youth ministry leaders were awarded their Certificate in Faith Formation and Youth Ministry Leadership. Silver Lake Maintains Accreditation from American Camp Association

The American Camp Association® (ACA) announced that Silver Lake Camp & Retreat Center – located in Sharon, CT and operated by the Southern New England Conference of the United Church of Christ – has received ACA-Accredited® Camp status for the 2024 season (November 2023-October 2024.)    Initially accredited in October 2019, Silver Lake has complied with the highest standards in the industry to maintain accreditation each year.
