BEHAVIORAL COVENANTS 

The Center for Transformational Leadership's February Lunch & Learn session will introduce the topic of Behavioral Covenants. This 2-part program on Zoom provides an introduction to the concept and practice of behavioral covenants in the congregational setting and offers some basic resources for church leadership to develop their own covenants. This will be facilitated by Rev. Elizabeth Dilley, Minister and Team Leader for the Ministerial Excellence, Support, and Authorization (MESA) ministry team in the national setting.

Liminality refers to the quality of ambiguity or disorientation that occurs during transition, when a person or group of people is in between something that has ended and something else that is not yet ready to begin. During this webinar, we introduce liminality and explore the challenges and opportunities facing organizations in liminal space. POINT IN TIME: TIME CAPSULE PROJECT

In early 2021, the Center for Transformational Leadership was given the opportunity to manage the activities related to a grant-funded Time Capsule Project. This project will document and record for perpetuity the experiences, struggles, and growth that churches faced during the 2020 pandemic, with special emphasis placed on church experiences related to COVID and the racial justice wildfire that swept the nation. The project seeks to answer the question: "How did this generation of Southern New England Conference churches make the faith their own during the pandemics of systemic racism and COVID-19?"
