Should We Resume In-Person Worship? A New Resource

In this new resource, Health and Wellness Minister Debbie Ringen writes: "We hold tightly to the promise of the time when we will be able to freely gather, converse, hug, and fully participate in gathering for worship and faith filled community with one another. This time is drawing closer, we can see the light of hope as many are getting vaccinated.  We also see inequities in distribution and limited vaccine supply.

The answer to the question of resuming in-person worship is that it will take time, patience and careful consideration of all of the variables in each local community to re-open safely and prevent resurgence of the coronavirus and its variants."

UCC Issues Appeal in Response to Winter Storms

The United Church of Christ is issuing an appeal to assist people affected by this year’s Winter Storms.

UCC Disaster Ministries, Global H.O.P.E. Team are working with leaders in the impacted communities, particularly in Texas. The current and ongoing needs include support for shelter and food, clean-up, and repair. In addition, these communities will need Emotional Spiritual Care.
