Two Ongoing Webinars Launch

Bridge Conference Minister Don Remick writes:  "Your Conference Ministers from across the UCC realize that there is a lot of experimentation and innovation happening in our churches across this country for times such as these ... We are developing a series of webinars that will bring together 3-5 panelists from churches across the country. Panelists will share what they did, how they decided to do it and what they learned.

First webinar:  Phasing Forward Towards In Person Worship: Stories of How a Decision Was Made in a Local Church, July 1, 3 PM, hosted by Don Remick.

The Conference's Health and Wellness Team and Disaster Resource and Response Team will hold a series of webinars to support clergy, lay leadership, and faith community members' health and well being in this time of pandemic and racial injustice awareness.

"We feel it is important to provide resources to promote resiliency, prevent burnout, and to normalize the variety of feelings experienced by those who are called to support others in mind, body, and spirit," said Deborah Ringen, Transitional Minister of Health and Wellness.

First Webinar: 3 Good Things Webinar with Dr. Bryan Sexton, July 7, 3:00 PM. Sexton will introduce a structured opportunity to cultivate positive experiences by reflecting on them for a couple of minutes within two hours of sleep onset (daily email/SMS sent to each participant for 2 weeks).
