Good Friday Service Available to Churches

A Good Friday service, Crucifixion and Black Death: A Seven Last Words Service of Lament, is now available for churches to download and use. It will also be aired on the Southern New England Conference Facebook page at 3 PM on Good Friday.

The Seven Last Words service will place the traditional scripture texts of Jesus’ final words from the cross in conversation with those of seven black Americans killed by police or extrajudicial actors.

Participants Invited for Annual Meeting Virtual Choir, Speakouts

The Southern New England Conference's second online Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 8, and people are being invited to act now in order to participate in two ways: by singing - virtually - in a Conference Mass Choir, and by recording and submitting Speakouts.

Super Saturdays Bring Hundreds Together; Sermon Videos Posted

Nearly 450 people attended one or both Super Saturdays online over the last two weekends.  More than 175 Southern New England Conference churches sent attendees, while 50 more people from outside the Conference also attended.

Those who came were able to attend worship, choose from 54 workshops, engage in networking groups and coaching sessions, and get to know marketplace vendors. The two sermons given by the Rabbi Elan Babchuck, the Founding Director of GLEAN Network, are now available for viewing on the SNEUCC website.
